Beautiful Nan Flowers Originals full slip. The bottom of the skirt has just tons of lace! It starts with a big cotton trim then goes into permanently pleaded black nylon and then flower lace. In excellent.
Dress is a fitted sheath or wiggle / pencil dress. Unsure what the fabric is that it’s made out of, but it feels like a possible satin taffeta that is on the thicker side & feels a bit stiffer or more structured to hold its shape.
The dress is satin with a full skirt and a crinoline underneath. The bodice is covered in lace and has boning on each side. Strap length in back from shoulder to bodice: 9.5″.
Perfect vintage condition! Such an easy to wear dress, 100% silk with a slim shoulder pad. This brand was sold at Neiman Marcus in the 80’, it looks like it may be brand new. It had a bit on that “vintage” smell so I steamed it a few times and I think it’s ready to wear! This could also be so amazing if you had it fitted at a tailor/had it shortened.
