Antique Oaxacan skirt This was sold to me as a pre-1900s item, late 19th century likely 1890s, and came with a group of items that were definitely from that time period, but I can’t 100% confirm that the age of this item myself , has a metal zipper and is made from cotton. This skirt has so much volume! Pictures don’t really capture just how much fabric is there. Unfortunately the waist is very petite, 9 inch flat waist if button used where it sits (drapes skirt over itself intentionally, see pics), can move button and wear skirt up to a 12 inch flat waist. Again because this item has many very small pleats, there is SO much fabric to work with, so the item could be used as a fabric base and reworked into a much larger size. Price reflects size
