FASHIONED OF A FINE BLACK COTTON NET THAT HAS BROWN BRAID ATTACHED WITH BLACK CHAIN STITCHING. DATING TO THE VICTORIAN 19TH CENTURY. PLEATED SILK TRIMS THE COLLAR AND DOWN THE LEFT SIDE FRONT AND I PERSONALLY WOULD REMOVE ALL OF THE SILK AS IT IS BREAKING WITH BREAKAGE ALONG THE SILK APPLIED TO THE INNER NECKLINE.
This 7 gored light weight wool blend walking skirt would of been paired with many different bodices. (Check out the ones I got listed, they go perfectly with this skirt! 😉) the simple black ribbon trim on the bottom gives off leisure over formal vibes.
This beautiful dress is from the late 1850s early 1860s. It’s either cotton or a wool blend. I haven’t put it under a microscope so I can’t see the fiber content, but it is very floaty and lightweight summer. It does not have any Hooks and eyes, but you can get those on the website NJ Sekela where they make reproduction Hooks and eyes and their hammered brass. They’re just lovely and Authentic . there are a few few flaws as seen in pictures a couple of holes at the bottom of the dress other than that it is absolutely beautiful condition you can fix those if you want to leave it up to your discretion. It’s just an absolutely gorgeous dress and a great example from the period again all photos are part of the description please look at them carefully before purchasing.

This is a robe. But it’s more than a Robe from the mall. The Smithsonian Institution makes Historical Replicas and sell them at the gift shop and catalogs. Some time, they made this 1700s robe. it’s 100% Cotton, size large and only has one tie to hold it closed. I keep picturing Keira Knightly in Pride and Prejudice, when Dame Judy Dench comes over in the middle of the night banging on the Bennet’s door. the ladies throw a robe over their pajamas. Let me give you the measurements: shoulders 16″ across. shoulder to hem is 49.5″. chest is 40″. Embroidered Peter Pan collar. the lace has curled a bit from the last wash. i like the look, shrinked. anyway. Who wants it? sent in a box.
THE COLLAR EXTERIOR HAS ABSENT BLACK SILK RIBBON ROWS AND I PERSONALLY WOULD ADD NEW ONES AND REPLACE SEVERAL THAT ARE FRAYED ON THE BOTTOM CAPE. THREE ERASER SIZED HOLES ON THE BOTTOM EDGE RUFFLE ARE UNSEEN.
