Vintage party dress from the 1950’s. It was handmade so I am not sure what the exact size is. Measurements are as follows, across front only: waist 12″, armpit to armpit is 17″, shoulder to waist 15″, waist to hem 24 1/2″. The dress is light blue taffeta with spaghetti straps, with a blue lace overlay (sewn on), and zips in the back.
It is light blue, It has gorgeous lace and ribbon accents. It has buttons on the front, long sleeves with lace and ribbon, It has lace near the bottom, and at the collar.
Ladies vintage light blue nylon 2-piece negligee/nightie and cover by Evette. Size SMALL. Top layer and sleeves of nightie are accordion pleated sheer nylon. Styling is a bit interesting and different in that the sleeveless cover is worn over the sleeved nightie. Cover (size SMALL) is single layer sheer nylon, sleeveless and has 3-button lace-accented yoke front closure. Yoke is 11.5″ across front and 4″ neckline to yoke seam. Chest=36.” Front (neckline to hem)=52.” Back=54.5.” Side seam=44.” Nightie is double layer with top layer being accordion pleated (under layer is not pleated). Chest=40.” Front/back=48.” Puffy sleeves=25″ long. 2″ wide lace at cuffs and around yoke. Nightie does have belt loops, but no belt is included. Very nice vintage set.
