The bodice is purple and the tiered skirt is two shades of yellow, two shades of pink and purple. The sleeves are puffy. The dress has a nylon zipper down the back. The newspaper will absorb unpleasant odors.
I would guess it to be more like a 12. The print is a beautiful vibrant floral with a very 60’s vibe.
Golden Yellow. Missing original belt but looks great with slim black belt. Can be belted to fit a smaller waist.
Tulle is full and clean. The fitted bodice provides structure and support, with beadwork extending from the bodice into the skirt — a detail typically found on higher-end formal and pageant gowns of the era.
The top half of the dress is velvet and the tiered lower half is taffeta. This dress has shoulderpads. The dress is in very nice condition. The hook at the top of the zipper is missing the eye so that would need to be replaced.
The dress features a square neckline accented with black lace and ivory satin trim with 3 bows centered with small black buttons. The sleeve cuffs are also accented with satin bows and buttons. The cuffs snap close.
