Exquisite formal evening gown by Victoria Royal Ltd., designed by Mary Bays. 1990’s era. Unbelievably high-quality fabric–Crafted of 100% silk! Bodice is 100% silk velvet (very expensive fabric), and skirt is 100% silk duchess taffeta.
• Fabric: Nedeck Velvet (Made in Germany). Likely late 1980s to early 1990s, when Laura Ashley produced many romantic velvet evening pieces. Minor surface lint typical of velvet may be present but overall the dress presents beautifully.

Condition- Good, I don’t see any holes or stains. Would really refresh the pleating and taffeta for wrinkles to be dry cleaned. Small shoulder pads in place. Union made, has a lining, at the hem of the lining and the dress there is a band to help keep the shape of the bottom.
