Vintage Candi Jones California lace prairie dress. This could have been a wedding dress. Excellent condition. Appears to have been worn once and then dry cleaned. Has a ruffled collar and a ribbon sash at the waist. Vintage size 11. Comes from a smoke free home. Thank you.
Size Junior 7. Double layer dress. Bottom layer is a beige sheath with a satin type finish. Dress is 50% polyester and 50% cotton. Elastic band at waist and at top. Otherwise no stretch. Lace satin trim on top, down front, and at bottom.

A few minor flaws, none significant. The flower in front is a pin and can be removed. Armpit to Armpit 16.5″. Waist 12.5″ straight across at empire. Hip about 19″ straight across. Shoulder to Hem about 58″.

Dress has cream color lace over a lining that feels like a silky type of polyester. The front chest area feels like it is made of cotton & there are flutter sleeves that have no lining underneath so they are just the lace.

Vtg 70’s does 50’s Candi Jones dress is in Excellent Vtg condition . Tag says “ 5” , this seems to fit with a modern sz 2/4 . The only flaws I found were that it needs a replacement hook & eye sewn into the collar in back ,the belt loops are mostly missing , the one left is stretched & thin & the belt buckle shows some wear .There’s also a very tiny snag on the hip,see photos . Fabric is still crisp, zips down the back .Puff short sleeves. Box pleated. Perfect dress for any season . Hand wash or dry clean. Measurements are available upon request
