The designer is Muriel Martin, we have not been able to find out much about her, she did independent couture work in the 1950s and 60s and mostly worked in fine fabrics and heavy beaded and appliqued evening wear.
This is from his 1959 collection and has zip closure in the back. Double layered but still kind of sheer. The black and white polka dot dress exudes an elegant eveningwear look, perfect for a special occasion.
