Beltloops intact, no holes. Some slight wear in the inseam, & a white bleach spot on back of pants leg (looks like a heart), small rust spot on bottom of leg. This romantic 1970’s prairie dress uses floral trim to echo the elements of a traditional dirndl ensemble! Perfect for outdoor events, dancing, or even an octoberfest biergarten! Puffy sleeves, ruffle flounce, corset lace-up detail, and gunne-sax inspired silhouette. Dress is lightweight black polyester jersey knit, so there is some stretch in the material and a slight shine to the finish. Ties in the back. Some seam damage, elastic in sleeve hems doesn’t stretch anymore.
This dress was made in the first decade of the 20th century most likely around 1906-1908. It was made of black wool and accented with lace and silk. There is wear to the silk belt. It is missing a piece in the back.
