Super cute, soft peasant top from circa the 50s 60s. Hand-embroidered flowers and sweet smocking on the wrists, pockets and collar. Please see pictures 8 and 9 for small stains. They are barely noticeable to me. I only noticed them when I took the top out in bright sunlight to photograph. I have not attempted to get these out. Also, there is some unraveling which adds to the vintage, hippie vibe.
Beautiful fine white cotton blouse with brawn work and embroidery design. It has some small holes in the back around the bottom pleating otherwise very good. It is from the 1920’s. The bust is 39 inches, the waist is 38 inches and the shoulder is 16.5 inches across the shoulders. It is an amazing example of a 1920’s blouse .
