Vintage party dress from the 1950’s. It was handmade so I am not sure what the exact size is. Measurements are as follows, across front only: waist 12″, armpit to armpit is 17″, shoulder to waist 15″, waist to hem 24 1/2″. The dress is light blue taffeta with spaghetti straps, with a blue lace overlay (sewn on), and zips in the back.
The dress and bolero have matching blue bead seed-shaped trim. All three pieces are in very good condition. There are a few faint discolored spots near the hem of the dress that can only be seen close-up.

It looks like a 33 inch chest, with 16.5 inches measured from armpit to armpit. 17 inches from the neck to the hem in the front and nearly 19 inches from the be neck to the hem in the back. Very hard to find from the 50s or 60s! Some wear and age with a few small holes starting to come through after 60-70 years. Please see all photos.

It looks so glamorous and feels straight out the movies! It is a lovely sheer gown with a silky feel. These may be removable, but I don’t have experience and did not want to risk it. ( I feel that this would be wearable without removal of the stains as they are not obvious or large ) The trim and shawl are real feather.
