Oooo this one is good! Vintage 1940s evening top in luscious deep wine red rayon, covered in dozens of flat, light catching silver toned prong set studs. The studs are formed into little bow ties down the front. Longer tunic length, raglan set sleeves, attached belt that buckles in back and keyhole neckline. Side metal zipper, metal snaps at wrists. Good condition; most notable is a small patch of sun fade at back, somewhat hidden by belt. Cigarette burn at front right thigh area, very faint darkening in underarms, an area of tiny pulls at back right hip, thread loop at keyhole neckline needs re-done. All studs appear to be intact. 30” long 15” shoulder to waist 19.5” underarm to underarm 32” waist 30” neckline to end of sleeve
Front skirt zipper, button bodice. Waist: 27″. Most notably a missing button, several pinholes, discoloration, white paint or residue, and a noticeable tear at the hem.
Lovely 40s era Dressing Gown by Flobert. label: Flobert. Fabric: Rayon. dress had age yellowing and staining which soaking lifted out significantly. micro pleat sweetheart neckline & sleeve trim, smocked gathers at bust & waist.
Teal & white silky rayon dress with faux bolero: shirring on upper bodice, no closures (must go over head). 37″ bust, 28″ waist, 43″ length. Quite a few spots and other flaws including yellowed underarms, a frayed seam separation on the back neckline, a. 5″ hole and a. 1″ hole next to it on the back skirt.
Fantastic 1940s novelty sweater. Deer and snowflake stripe pattern. Shown on a modern dress form with a bust of 36″. Length 23”. Could be more but not very visible. Royal blue.
Late 1940s early 1950s knit pullover sweater in tomato red wool. Constructed with a crew neckline, long sleeves with slight puff shoulders, elongated ribbed cuffs, and a ribbed waistband. The fit is tailored and slightly cropped.
Era: 1940s. Classic a line skirt with front and back single inverse pleats. Dual side button closure with early plastic buttons creates pockets. Fully lined. Content: wool blend “viscosa”. Length: 30.25″.

My best guess is that it’s rayon, it’s soft and flows well. It’s an A-line skirt making this so attractive. It has a tie sewn over the front of the shoulders – it is not a collar. There are very small flaws which I’ve pictured.
THE COLLAR HAS AN INTRICATE BEADED DESIGN WITH RHINESTONES AND A SIMPLE BEADED CURLY CUE PATTERN ALONG THE FRONT ON EACH SIDE. IT’S WELL MADE WITH LIGHTLY PADDED SHOULDERS AND PIN-TUCKING FRONT AND BACK.
