Here is a Vintage Sage Green-Khaki DRESS with Belt, Ocher, Brown & White Flowers, Size M/L I don’t know the exact period but the style is very 40’s-50’s. The label is obviously missing, so I don’t know if there was a brand, the exact size and the material. Regarding the size, I know the person who used to wear it, so I know that it must be between Medium and Large, however I recommend that you check the measurements below to be sure. Regarding the material, it is a very soft material slightly stretchy, which makes me think of a sleek jersey. It could be some viscose or rayon, or maybe there is some nylon in it? I am not sure, it doesn’t need much ironing. Look at the nice floral motifs,the biggest flowers are ocher and brown, making me think of small sunflowers for the biggest flowers of the print. There are other little white and ocher flowers and the leaves have kind of a dark teal color. This dress is pleated a little above the waist, giving more room for the breast, and also under the waist, giving more room for the hips. The hem is almost 2″ wide giving more possible length to the dress if you need so. Please, also check the item specifics above to have more information. We see that on different details, like, for example, the holes on the belt which have been handmade and hand stitched. One of the loop holding the belt was opened, I repaired it and it works properly again. There was a seam on the shoulder which was unstitched, I stitched it again by hand. You will also see that one of the buttons is different from the other ones. Color wise, it fits with the colors of the dress, but if you don’t like that, you will have to find other buttons. The belt is not perfectly flat, but it could be fixed by ironing it better. Overall good vintage condition and this dress is ready to be worn. Please, check the photos as well.
