This dress is a pullover with a tie at the neck. The yokes are made of red cotton decorated with red silk ribbon and the body and sleeves of made of tightly gathered, floaty cotton gauze. The ends of the sleeves and the bottom of the skirt also have rows of ribbon.
#25-066, Brown 1870’s – 1880’s Silk Faille Bodice : This bodice was made as part of a bustle dress ensemble. All we have is the bodice and its sleeves have been removed. The fabric is still sturdy.
The colorful abstract watercolor pattern and crisscross back with 2 button closure at the neckline make it a standout piece. The skirt is narrow at the bottom with back slit and has a button closure at the waistline and back zipper.

This is a beautiful 1990’s prom dress. It is a size 7/8 but it is a better fit now for a size XS – 0 to 2 I would say. Dry Clean only. Excellent condition – has a tulle underlayer. Normal wear. As shown in photos.
Black velvet bodice with pink satin / taffeta-like underlayer, pink tulle layer, and sheer black tulle overlay with flocked floral and leaf pattern. Exact fabric content is unknown because no material label was found.
